You should also follow Google Webmasters Quality Guidelines in order to get more visitors from search engines and safe your blog by getting banned by search engines.

After you have your account sign-in into your account via Gmail address you register at the time of signup and  press enter. Now go to the Ads tab and create a new Ad unit and at the end of the wizard some Java script code will be provided to you. Copy that code and paste it into the area of your blog where you want to ads to be displayed. After 10 minutes you place the code on your blog Ads will start to display and your blogging career will start eventually.
